WHO AM I NOW? Workshop
Experiencing a major life event (the death of a loved one, a retirement, a health diagnosis, a graduation, a birth, a job loss, a move, a break-up, a career change…) can cause us to lose our sense of identity. Suddenly, we feel set adrift, without an anchor. “I used to know who I was… But who am I NOW?”
What was true about me then?
What is still true about me?
Who do I want to be going forward?
How can I plan my life to reflect my values?
Joni Mitchell said “Something’s lost and Something’s gained in living every day.” How do we find the gifts hidden in these life changes?”
Through mindful awareness, reflective questions, visualization, journalling, and expressive therapeutic arts, we will discover more deeply who we are, and what is important to us as we integrate this new truth about our lives.
